What I checked

I read platforms off the appdetails JSON on 29 October 2026: windows true, mac false, linux false. The English Steam store now displays Steam Deck Compatibility: Unknown. That is a store status, not a successful performance test or an unsupported verdict.

Controller and region

The April 2025 FAQ says controller support is planned and is likely missing at the Early Access launch. A Steam discussion during the demo says the demo build has no controller support. Those are two different builds: the FAQ is about the future game, the thread is about the demo.

I found no official sentence about region locks. I am not inventing one.

Questions people ask

Is Frostrail on PS5?

Not announced. The April 2025 FAQ says possible console ports will be evaluated for 1.0 and beyond, and PC Early Access comes first.

Is Frostrail on Xbox?

Same answer as PS5. No Xbox version is listed on Steam, and no date has been posted.

Does Frostrail run on Mac?

The store platform flag is false. The FAQ says Mac is under consideration and can only be confirmed at launch.

Is Frostrail Steam Deck verified?

Steam displays Steam Deck Compatibility: Unknown, checked 29 October 2026. No Verified or Unsupported result is established here.
