From the April 2025 FAQ · Checked
Mods, cheats and the console
This page does not host trainers, tables, or “online fix” builds. It quotes the only official paragraph about mods and says what is missing.

Evidence note: The same publisher’s Steam store, API and news posts are not independent sources; information from that publisher alone remains single-source evidence. Community and fan reports remain attributed reports, not official confirmation. This page does not claim that every statement has been verified by two independent sources.
What I checked
I read the 24 April 2025 FAQ section on modding. It says the engine will not allow Barotrauma’s level of mod support, and that the team may look at smaller mod support during development and Early Access. The Steam category list I checked has achievements and family sharing, and it does not list Steam Workshop. I am not turning a missing category into a permanent ban on mods.
What was promised
Smaller than Barotrauma, not “no mods ever”, and not a workshop page you can open today. No mod portal, no approved tool list, and no sample mod is linked from the news posts I used.
Cheats and console commands
No developer post publishes a cheat list or a tilde-console for this game. Searches that append “ct” do not match an official command in the FAQ. Third-party trainers are not linked here. The demo is free; a cracked client is not a feature.
A claim that a mod raises the player cap past four would need two sources. I do not have them. The official cap remains 1–4.
Questions people ask
Does Frostrail have mods?
Not as a Workshop, as of 29 October 2026. The FAQ says full Barotrauma-style support is impossible and that smaller support may be explored later.
Are there Frostrail cheat codes?
None are published by the developer. This site will not link trainers.
Is there a console command?
No official console is documented in the FAQ or the demo news posts.
